Chapter Philanthropy

As an organization, we participate in Relay for Life, Up Til Dawn, SERRV, Project Linus, Movable Feast and our national philanthropy: Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. With 10 hours per semester per sister, plus Relay for Life, Up Til Dawn and Philanthropy events, our chapter does about 2500 hours of community service per semester. Relay for Life and Up Til Dawn are campus-wide fundraiser events. SERRV is a fair trade organization that helps third world countries manufacture and distribute goods to stimulate their local economies. We volunteer there packaging items for shipping. Project Linus is an organization that makes blankets for sick children in the hospital. We have a strong personal connection with this cause, as the child of one of our alumnae received a Project Linus blanket during a recent trip to the hospital.
