November Update
We have been so busy welcoming our new Phis, who will be initiated this week! Many of us have also been busy with leadership positions not only in Phi Mu but around campus, congratulations to all of our fabulous women playing key roles around McDaniel! We also celebrated Homecoming and had a chance to reunite with alumnae. We won the Brant Cup for outstanding achievement for the 2nd year in a row, and 3rd place for best letters on the hill! Phi Alpha chapter has so much to be proud of!

The sisters of Phi Mu had a very successful Spring recruitment!

Fall 2009
The sisters of the Phi Alpha chapter welcomed 7 new sisters into the sisterhood for the fall semester. Congratulations to Carissa Grove, Kristen Houpt, Claire Maisel, Megan Reilly, Megan Robinson, Linsey Turkett and Courtney Zimmerman!
As for our philanthropy, we had another very successful semester raising money for CMN, from our annual golf tournament to paw print and balloon sale and other fundraising table events. We have raised about $1389.60 in donations, excluding the golf tournament.
The sisters are ready for the new spring semester, and hopeful that the lovely new executive board voted in will kick ass!

A Successful Semester!
The sisters of Phi Mu are proud to be wrapping up another successful semester. They initiated a pledge class of four, raised over $1300 for charity, saw a large alumni turnout for homecoming, logged more than 200 total service hours, and celebrated semi-formal. Elections were also recently held - congratulations to the new executive board, as well as the Phi Mu ladies elected to positions within the Panhellenic and Intergreek Council executive boards.

Charity Champs!
The sisters of Phi Mu have recently been making impressive Philanthropy strides. Their first annual golf tournament, Hole in One for CMN raised over $900 for Children's Miracle Network. Sisters also participated in the Susan G. Komen Walk for a Cure, a 4 mile Walk in Baltimore to raise money for breast cancer awareness and research. Phi Mu raised over $800!

The Fall Recruitment period has ended, and the sisters of Phi Mu are extremely excited to welcome four new women into their bond. Congratulations Anna Beers, Carly Dubick, April Ruthke, and Amanda Smid!

Summer break, but not vacation!
The ladies of Phi Mu are celebrating a successful spring semester, in which they initiated 10 wonderful women, graduated 6 accomplished seniors, and raised almost $1,200 for Children's Miracle Network. They are now using the summer to prepare for fall events and recruitment!
